Dr. Catherine Lutalo Mwesigwa, BDS (Mak), MDPH (UWA), PhD (UWC) is a Senior Dental Surgeon and Dental Oublic Health Specialist with over 15 years of experience. Her mission is to improve community oral health while mentoring and inspiring the next generation of dental professionals.
Her research delves into crital topics such as children’s nutrition and fostering healthy habits, making a meaningful impact in both academia and public health. Both her professional life, Dr. Mwesigwa is a devoted wife, mother, and born-again Christian. She finds joy in encouraging others and unwinding with uplifting movies, Tv Shows, blogs and books that carry a positive message. Known for her warmth and dedication, she brings her compassionate spirit into her practice, helping patients achieve healthier smiles with care and kindness.

Catherine is also involved in training dental students and is interested in research that focuses on oral health and dental public health issues and marginalized and disadvantaged groups
